A common position must be formed among European Union member states before discussing possible negotiations with Russia, European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas told journalists, APA reports.
“Before discussing the situation with Russia, we need to clarify among ourselves what we want to talk to it about,” she noted.
Kallas said that the EU’s main goal is to ensure a stable and peaceful Europe: “This is about European security. Russia constantly attacks its neighbors, and we need to determine how we can respond to this.”
Kallas emphasized that the EU’s demands and conditions regarding Russia are still under discussion in terms of ensuring peace in Europe.
