A delegation led by the Chairman of the Committee on National Defense of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (GNAT) Hulusi Akar has visited Georgia, according to the Georgian parliament, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports.
Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili has met with the delegation. The parties held a discussion on the development of Middle Corridor, as well as on Türkiye-Georgia strategic partnership ties. Shalva Papuashvili stated that Türkiye always stands with Georgia and supports its territorial integrity and sovereignty, and expressed gratitude for it.
Hulusi Akar stressed the importance of security and prosperity in both countries, as well as in the region.
The parties emphasized the importance of achieving a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and the development of Türkiye-Armenia relations.
