Georgia's MPs from the opposition parties have called for a protest action regarding approving of the ruling party Georgian Dream’s draft law "On Transparency of Foreign Influences" in the first reading in the parliament, APA’s Tbilisi correspondent reports.

Parliament’s opposition called on citizens to gather in front of the parliament at seven o'clock in the evening "to protect the future of the state". MPs in their joint statement declared that they will start a decisive fight against the founder of the ruling party, Bidzina Ivanishvili.

Note that the protests around the parliament building in protest against the draft law have been mainly organized by civil society organizations.
