Georgia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili met with her Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan on the sidelines of the 32nd OSCE Ministerial Council meeting held in Vienna, APA’s local bureau reports, citing Georgia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, the strong strategic partnership and intensive bilateral cooperation between the two countries were positively assessed.
The sides focused on regional developments and the role of Georgia and Türkiye in promoting stability and peace in the region.
They also discussed the need to make full use of the transit and transport potential of both countries for effective trade and economic cooperation, as well as for the development of the Middle Corridor.
Effective cooperation between the countries within international organizations was also emphasized.
