The delay in the warning about a ballistic missile attack on Kyiv was related to the characteristics of the weapons used by Russia, rather than a failure by partners to inform Ukraine in advance, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said during his speech at the Warsaw Security Forum, APA reports.
The minister confirmed that the air raid alert in Ukraine was issued with a delay during Russia's overnight attack on October 12. He stated that the reason for the delay was related to the characteristics of the weapons used by the Russian side.
The Ukrainian Foreign Minister also confirmed that Kyiv continues to receive intelligence information from the United States.
"You are probably asking whether we receive intelligence information from the US side. Yes, we are continuing this cooperation," Sybiha emphasized.
