The European Union has expanded personal sanctions against Russia, adding 48 individuals and 35 organizations to the list, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
The EU's 16th sanctions package also includes a ban on 13 Russian banks' access to SWIFT.
Additionally, the new restrictions include a ban on the import of raw aluminum from Russia and a ban on the broadcasting of eight Russian media outlets in Europe.
