Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Communications Directorate of the Turkish Presidency said, APA's Türkiye bureau reports.
During the phone conversation, Türkiye-Uzbekistan relations, as well as regional and global issues, were discussed.
Erdoğan emphasized the importance of further strengthening cooperation at the Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, which will be held in Ankara on October 29-30, and invited Mirziyoyev to the COP31 Climate Summit, scheduled to take place in Antalya on November 11-12.
