The Security Service of Ukraine has arrested a Belarusian spy in the country, the service said in a statement on its Telegram channel, APA reports.
Preliminary investigation revealed that he was tasked with transmitting information about the locations of checkpoints in Ukraine, as well as the movement of military convoys, to the Belarusian special services.
This person, whose name has not been disclosed, was also supposed to learn information about the northern borders of the state.
If proven guilty, he faces life imprisonment.
