Former German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, who resigned as President of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, which concluded today, plans to lead a low-profile life going forward, APA reports citing newspaper Handelsblatt.
"I am now a private citizen," Baerbock said in an interview with Handelsblatt.
Now, as the DPA news agency reports, citing sources, Baerbock will take up teaching at Columbia University in New York.
During its 80th session, the General Assembly held 116 plenary meetings and adopted 317 resolutions. Bangladeshi Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman was elected President of the 81st session of the UNGA.
