NATO will increase number of peacekeeping mission in Kosovo soon, APA reports quoting diplomatic sources. Raise of tensions in the region caused taking such step. At an informal dinner late Thursday, ministers agreed to maintain the strength of the alliance’s peacekeeping mission at 16,000 with additional battalions of British and Italian troops ready to move in if there is trouble. Number of peacekeeping mission of NATO in Kosovo will reach to 19,000. Negotiations between Serbs and Albans on the status of Kosovo will be completed formally soon. The experts do not rule out ethnic confrontation in the region if negotiations fail. /APA/
