Ukraine’s president nominates Yulia Tymoshenko to be prime minister

This was based on the article 106, 1st part, 9th item and 114th article, 3rd item of Constitution. Earlier, speaker of the parliament Arseniy Yatsenyuk presented Tymoshenko as prime minister to the president during the first session he chaired. According to Constitution, Tymoshenko will form new Cabinet of the Ministers within two weeks and submit it to Parliament for assertion. Tymoshenko is one of the leaders of the pro-western "Orange" coalition, will need the support of at least 226 lawmakers to become premier for the second time.
