The decision was made in the joint meeting of parliamentarians elected from Yulia Tymoshenko and Our Ukraine-People’s Self-Defense bloc today. The second person of Yulia Tymoshenko bloc Alexander Turchinov said that 156 members of this political force and 72 members of Our Ukraine-People’s Self-Defense bloc signed agreement on the establishment of democratic coalition.
“It means that democratic coalition was established due to Constitution,” he said.
The parliamentarians applauded the leaders of the two blocs – Yuliya Tymoshenko and Vyacheslav Kyrylenko’s signing agreement. The candidates will be defined to the post of Prime Minister and Supreme Rada head tomorrow. Yulia Tymoshenko will probably take post of Prime Minister. Coalition will nominate one member of Our Ukraine-People’s Self-Defense bloc to the post of Parliament speaker. Vyacheslav Kyrylenko proposed candidacy of Foreign Minister Arseni Yasenyuk to this post in today’s meeting of the bloc.
