Ukraine Election Commission announce election results

Mr Yushchenko’s Our Ukraine-People’s Self Defense party won 14.15 %( 72 parliament seats) of the vote and the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc took 30.71%(156 seats), giving them a combined 44.86%. The Communist party 5,39(27) percent and the Litvin bloc 3,96(20 seats)percent of votes. The Socialist party won 2,86 percent of votes. Final official results are to be published till October 15.
2,73 percent voted for no political forces. Two Azerbaijanis will be represented in Ukraine parliament. Eduard Zeynalov, resident of Kirovograd and Oleg Meydan from Kremenchug city were born in 1963 and 1965 respectively. /APA/
