Viktor Yanukovich to call all forces for forming coalition

â€œThe election returns gave carte blanche to the Party of Regions to form a new successful government and continue a successful social and economic policy,â€ Yanukovich said in his partyâ€™s headquarters on Monday.
â€œI respect all parties, which passed the 3% threshold, and we will organize the negotiating process (to form a ruling coalition and a government). It is very important for all political forces to abandon political ambitions and work for the benefit of Ukraine in order to form Verkhovna Rada and a government,â€ he pointed out.
Yanukovich believes that at this moment it is necessary not to argue what outcome of the next presidential elections will be, but to work for the benefit of people. â€œAt present, the talk is not about 2009 (when the presidential election campaign will start). It is necessary to work for growing prosperity of people, and not to think about presidential ambitions. From this point of view at the talks we will bring together pragmatic politicians, who are able to pursue a successful foreign and home policy,â€ he said. /APA/
