10 July 2007 17:42 (UTC +04:00)
Clothes scandal occurred in Moldavian Parliament, APA’s Eastern Europe bureau reports.
The speaker of the Parliament Marian Lupu called the parliamentarians to respect legislative body.
“There are no serious prohibitions in the activity regulation of the Parliament. I also ask the parliamentarians to attend the plenary sessions in suits or shirts with ties,†he said.
The parliamentarians’ attending the sessions in jeans caused it. He also invited the parliamentarians to avoid using impolite words during meetings.
“I ask parliamentarians not to use expressions such as “shut upâ€. Rudeness should be removed,†he underscored. /APA/
