US Senate receives draft law on Ukraine and Georgia’s accession to NATO

The United States Senate has received draft law on Georgia and Ukraine’s accession to NATO and financial assistance to this process, APA reports. Richard Lugar, John McCain, Joseph Baiden and some others are among 14 senators that signed the bill.
Mr. Lugar said that US supports the accession of Albany, Croatia, Macedonia, as well as Georgia and Ukraine to NATO. Draft law considers assistance to those countries in the sphere of security in 2008. /APA/
