The value of projects implemented by Turkish companies in the liberated territories has been announced, APA reports.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, said at the 12th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye that to date, Azerbaijan has invested more than $20 billion in Türkiye’s economy, while Türkiye has invested $18 billion in Azerbaijan’s economy:
“Azerbaijan is one of the largest investors in Türkiye, and Türkiye is one of the largest investors in Azerbaijan. 3,000 Azerbaijani companies are actively operating in Türkiye. In Azerbaijan, there are more than 4,600 commercial entities with Turkish investment. We have created all the necessary conditions for the activities of Turkish companies. In the projects being implemented in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories, brotherly Turkish companies are working alongside us. Around 20 Turkish companies are implementing nearly 50 projects in those areas, with a total value of approximately $5 billion. These projects cover the construction of highways and railways, energy, agriculture, water and land reclamation, design, and other sectors.”
