During January-October 2025, a total of 94,583 cars worth 1 billion 793 million 87.9 thousand US dollars were imported to Azerbaijan, the State Customs Committee told APA-Economics.
Compared to January-October 2024, the number of cars imported to the country increased by 26.6% or 19,860 units, and their value increased by 20.8% or 308.7 million dollars. In the corresponding period of 2024, 74,723 cars worth 1 billion 484 million 416.8 thousand US dollars were imported to Azerbaijan.
Note that the number of vehicles powered only by electric motors imported during the reporting period amounted to 1,732 units, which is 33.2% less than the corresponding period of last year.
Recall that during this period, 51,133 hybrid cars worth $991,489,000 were imported to Azerbaijan.
