The value of food products imported to Azerbaijan in 2025 was 2 billion 590 million 994 thousand US dollars, APA-Economics reports, citing the report of the State Customs Committee.
The value of food imports last year increased by 4.7% compared to the previous year.
Last year, the share of food products in the total country's imports was 10.63%.
During the reporting period, 47,641 tons of meat worth 117 million 964 thousand US dollars were imported to the country, which decreased by 8.9% in value and 18.8% in volume compared to the previous year.
Last year, 18,319 tons (18.4% more) of milk worth 32 million 208 thousand US dollars (30% more) were imported to the country.
The country also imported 24,917 tons (down 15.9%) of butter and other fats made from milk, worth 172 million 637 thousand US dollars (down 0.6%).
