Last month, Türkiye exported products worth USD 159 million 502 thousand to Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports citing the Turkish Exporters Assembly.
According to the report, this is 48.2% less compared to December 2024, but 9.1% more in comparison with January.
Among the products exported from Turkey to Azerbaijan, chemicals and products ranked first. Thus, Türkiye exported chemicals and chemical products worth USD 40 million 368 thousand to Azerbaijan. This is 11.9% less compared to the previous month, but 13.2% more in annual comparison.
Electrical and electronic products were the second most exported from Türkiye to Azerbaijan. During the period, the total value of the export of electrical and electronic products made up USD 17 million 535 thousand which is 12.6% less compared monthly but 10.6% more compared anually.
Last month, the export of machinery and machinery parts ranked third. Turkey exported machinery and machinery parts worth 16 million 637 thousand US dollars to Azerbaijan. This represents a monthly decrease of 6.2% and an annual increase of 38.4%.
The next category on the list of Türkiye's exports to Azerbaijan was grains, pulses, oilseeds, and their products. Thus, total value of the mentioned products was USD 11 million 793 thousand with a 21.1% decrease on a monthly basis and a 10.6% decrease year-on-year.
Furniture, paper, and wood products ranked fifth in exports from Türkiye to Azerbaijan, with a value of USD 10 million 683 thousand. This represents a 16.6% decrease compared to the previous month but a 25% increase year-on-year.
Note that Türkiye's total non-oil product exports for the month amounted to USD 18 billion 439 million 742 thousand.
