In January-November of 2023, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan amounted to $738,966,000, according to calculations made by APA-Economics based on State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan's report.
Volume of this indicator increased by 73% or $311.8 million compared to the corresponding period of 2022. Thus, in January-November of 2022, the volume of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan was $427 million.
During the reporting period, the volume of exports from Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan quadrupled to $77.3 million, and the volume of exports from Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan increased by 62.4% to $661.6 million.
Note that Turkmenistan ranks sixth among the countries to which Azerbaijan exports non-oil products.
During this period, the trade turnover with Turkmenistan made up 1.56% of the total trade turnover of Azerbaijan.
