The talks held with Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov in Baku contributed to the development of the economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov said during the briefing held in Baku on the results of the meeting with Maksim Reshetnikov, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, there is an increase recorded in trade-economic cooperation between the two countries, which is the result of the joint work.
Minister said that according to the results of 2023, the trade turnover between the countries has increased by 17%.
"In total, we believe that just like in any relationship, there are open matters, but the approach to them is characterized by a completely constructive and, likewise, open nature. We trust that my counterpart's visit will be a very benefiting contribution to the expanding of our future economic relations," Mikayil Jabbarov noted.
