The Chairmanship of the United Nations Special Programme for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA) was transferred from Azerbaijan to Tajikistan, APA-Economics reports.
The proposal of Tajikistan was evaluated at the 18th session of the Governing Council of the United Nations Special Programme for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA) held in Baku. Tajikistan was chosen by the member states as the country to chair SPECA in 2024.
It was noted that the 19th session of the Governing Council of the SPECA will be held in capital city of Tajikistan Dushanbe in 2024.
