The Roadmap for 2025 on the implementation of improvements and communication in the relevant field in relation to the International Trade indicator of the World Bank Group’s Business Ready report has been approved by the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings, APA-Economics reports.
According to the roadmap, it is planned to hold discussions with the relevant entities of the countries located on the corridor regarding the application of a single transit cargo document and simplified customs procedures for cargo transported through the Middle Corridor, and to prepare proposals based on the results and submit them to the Commission.
At the same time, it is planned to create a relevant state website or information portal within the year, where international trade procedures and rules are explained in a consistent and comprehensive manner, conduct research towards the signing of free/preferential trade agreements and submit information on the results to the Commission.
It should be noted that the International Trade Working Group of the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings is headed by First Deputy Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Elnur Aliyev.
