Russian car manufacturer "Sollers" will begin production in Azerbaijan in the autumn of 2023, Sales and Marketing Director of "Sollers Alabuga" Marat Sharapov said, APA reports.
Noted that the company will start production at "Azermash" Limited Liability Company (LLC).
"We recently signed an agreement with Azerbaijan on the development of cooperation. This project will be implemented in the fall. This will be our first export market," he said.
Sharapov added that the company aimed to enter the markets of other countries.
Recall that on May 19, within the framework of "Russia-Islamic World: Kazan Forum", a memorandum of cooperation on the production of "Sollers" light commercial vehicles was signed between "Sollers" and "Azermash" LLC in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
