Starting from July 11, 2025, “Rosselkhoznadzor” (the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance) has imposed a ban on the import of all types of dairy products produced by Azerbaijan’s “ALLBUY” LLC and “MILK PRODUCTS” LLC into Russia, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports, citing Rosselkhoznadzor.
It was reported that the decision was made due to the refusal of the mentioned Azerbaijani dairy product manufacturers to undergo inspections by the Russian Inspection Service and their lack of interest in continuing to supply their products to Russia.
"Rosselkhoznadzor informed Azerbaijan's relevant authority that it was ready to carry out inspections in the near future at five dairy production facilities that continue to supply products to Russian buyers.
The measures taken against these companies were aimed at monitoring compliance with the legislation of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), verifying previously provided assurances regarding compliance with EAEU and Russian standards, and addressing deficiencies identified during inspections conducted by Rosselkhoznadzor specialists in 2024. Azerbaijan’s Food Safety Agency confirmed that “ALLBUY” LLC (producer of dairy products, including butter and cheese) and “MILK PRODUCTS” LLC (involved in both production and processing of dairy products, primarily butter) are no longer interested in exporting their goods to Russia," the statement reads.
