A postage stamp dedicated to AZAL’s aircraft that crashed in Kazakhstan has been prepared, APA reports.
The postage stamp commemorating flight J2-8243 will be presented to the public tomorrow.
Note that the Embraer-190 aircraft crashed near Aktau Airport on December 25, 2024. There were 67 people on board the aircraft, 38 of whom, including six citizens of Kazakhstan, were killed. The incident caused tension in relations between Azerbaijan and Russia, as it was reported that the aircraft was damaged in Russian airspace.
