In January 2026, 402 passenger cars and 56 trucks were produced in Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports, citing the State Statistical Committee.
Compared to the corresponding period of last year, passenger car production increased by 71.1%, while truck production rose sevenfold.
It should be noted that as of February 1 of the current year, inventories of finished products amounted to 244 passenger cars and 19 trucks, respectively.
During the reporting period, 30 tractors were produced in the country, which is 34.8% less compared to the corresponding period of last year.
Recall that last year, 4,038 passenger cars and 273 trucks were produced in the country.
