Over 44 tonnes of gold imported to Azerbaijan from 23 countries in 10 months -LIST

During January-October 2025, 44 thousand 440.9 kg of gold worth 4 billion 515 million 57.6 thousand US dollars was imported to Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports, citing the report of the State Statistical Committee.

The average import price of 1 kg of gold imported into the country during the reporting period was 101 thousand 597 US dollars.

Note that in the first 10 months of this year, gold production in Azerbaijan amounted to 2592.7 kg. During this period, 3970.7 kg of unprocessed gold worth 276 million 824.5 thousand US dollars was exported from Azerbaijan to Switzerland. The average export price of 1 kilogram of this product was 69 thousand 715 US dollars.

Gold imports to the country refer to semi-processed gold in the form of bars, wires and profiles, plates, sheets with a thickness of more than 0.15 mm regardless of the base, as well as strips or tapes.
