In January-August 2025, Azerbaijan carried out trade operations with 173 countries of the world, APA-Economics reports, citing the State Customs Committee.
During this period, the number of foreign trade participants was 54,013 people. Of them, 43,965 were individuals (an increase of 7.2% compared to the previous year), and 10,048 were legal entities (an increase of 2%).
Of the legal entities participating in foreign activities, 166 were state entities, and 9,882 were representatives of the private sector.
It should be noted that during the reporting period, the volume of import operations amounted to 15 billion 52.7 million US dollars, the number of imported goods was 7,395 units. The volume of export operations amounted to 17 billion 65.4 million US dollars, the number of exported goods was 2,560 units.
