In 2024, 2,575 new jobs were created in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, according to APA-Economics's calculations based on the State Statistical Committee's report.
This figure has increased by 2.1 times compared to the previous year. In 2023, 1,271 new jobs were created in the liberated territories.
Note that the highest number of new jobs was created in Khankandi and Lachin. Specifically, during the reporting period, 702 new jobs were created in Khankandi, and 471 new jobs were created in Lachin.
Recall that during the reporting period, 380 new enterprises and organizations, and 3,815 new individual entrepreneurship entities were registered with the state. Compared to the previous year, the number of newly established enterprises and organizations increased by 2.6 times, and the number of individual entrepreneurs grew by 43.3%.
