During the nine months of 2025, 77.7 thousand new jobs were created in Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports, citing the State Statistical Committee.
It was noted that 9.1 percent of the newly created jobs were in newly established enterprises and organizations, 89.8 percent in existing enterprises and organizations, 0.4 percent in enterprises and organizations that had resumed operations, and 0.7 percent were created under other measures.
According to the information, 91.4 percent of the jobs created during this period were opened in the non-state sector. Of the newly created jobs, 75.9 percent were in Baku, 0.8 percent in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and 23.3 percent in other regions, including 7.2 percent in Absheron–Khizi, 2.7 percent in Guba–Khachmaz, 2.7 percent in Shaki–Zagatala, 2.4 percent in Karabakh, 1.9 percent in Ganja–Dashkasan, 1.5 percent in Shirvan–Salyan, 1.2 percent in Lankaran–Astara, 0.9 percent in East Zangezur, 0.9 percent in Central Aran, 0.8 percent in Gazakh–Tovuz, 0.6 percent in Mil–Mugan, and 0.5 percent in Mountainous Shirvan economic regions.
