Cambodia and Azerbaijan have much to learn about each other’s markets, industries, and business opportunities, Cambodian Minister of Commerce Cham Nimul said during a speech at the Azerbaijan-Cambodia business forum held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
According to her, today’s forum provides Cambodian companies with a valuable opportunity to establish direct contacts, exchange experience, and explore opportunities that may still be insufficiently familiar to either side:
“We understand that building closer commercial ties requires sustained cooperation between governments and the private sector. In this regard, Cambodia’s Ministry of Commerce is ready to work closely with our Azerbaijani partners and relevant chambers of commerce to support the establishment of business ties, improve access to market information, and help address practical challenges where necessary.”
The minister noted that the common goal is to create favorable conditions for business entities to explore opportunities and establish long-term commercial partnerships:
“That is why I welcome the active participation of private sector representatives in today’s event. Their commercial knowledge, initiative, and experience are crucial in identifying opportunities that governments alone may not be able to determine.
The information obtained during this exchange of views will also help identify ways for our institutions to better support bilateral trade.”
