Azerbaijan can be a key partner for us in accessing the CIS markets, said Jordanian Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yarub Gudah at the 4th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Jordan Intergovernmental Commission, APA-Economics reports.
He said that Jordan has no presence in the markets of the Commonwealth of Independent States. Therefore, he said that cooperation with Azerbaijan is of strategic importance.
Yarub Gudah noted that the strong partnership formed by Azerbaijan with the CIS countries in the political, economic and trade fields opens up new opportunities for Jordan. According to him, official Amman, together with Baku, sees expanding access to regional markets as a priority direction of cooperation between the two countries.
