“Today, 7 projects were launched with the participation of the presidents of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan,” said Yusif Abdullayev, executive director of Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency – AZPROMO in his statement to journalists, APA reports.
Yusif Abdullayev said that 3 projects will be implemented in Uzbekistan with Azerbaijani investment, and 4 projects will be implemented in Azerbaijan with Uzbekistan’s investment: “The biggest project is the construction of a five-star hotel by Azerbaijan in the center of Tashkent. The construction of the hotel will start from September. At the same time, a large residential complex will be built in the center of Tashkent. An Azerbaijani company will establish industrial production in a region of Uzbekistan."
Yusif Abdullayev drew attention that textile enterprises will be established in Azerbaijan with Uzbekistan's investment: "Textile-related projects will be implemented in Imishli, Yevlakh, Khankandi."
