The founding meeting of the Azerbaijan-Germany Business Council will be held in November, Deputy Economy Minister Samad Bashirli said during his speech at the “German-Azerbaijani Strategic Partnership and Connectivity Conference 2026” held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
“President Ilham Aliyev’s official visit to Berlin in July was marked by high-level meetings and substantive discussions. During the visit, a Joint Declaration on the strategic agenda for bilateral partnership was signed, and an agreement was reached on establishing the Azerbaijan-Germany Business Council.
Together with our German partners, we are currently working to translate this political momentum into bankable projects and secure the financing required for their successful implementation. In order to advance these efforts, continue the concrete initiatives currently under discussion and hold the founding meeting of the Azerbaijan-Germany Business Council, we plan to visit Germany in early November this year,” he said.
