On September 1 of this year, the first meeting of the Azerbaijan-Brazil Joint Working Group will be held in Brazil, APA-Economics reports citing the Ministry of Economy.
According to the information, Elnur Aliyev, First Deputy Minister of Economy and co-chairman of the Joint Working Group on Trade and Investment Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil, met with Manuel Adalberto Carlos Montenegro Lopes da Cruz, the Ambassador of Brazil to Azerbaijan.
The meeting emphasized that mutual visits and signed documents play an important role in the development of bilateral relations. It was also noted that the first meeting of the Azerbaijan-Brazil Joint Working Group, which will be held in Brazil on September 1 of this year, is an important mechanism for cooperation.
The importance of strengthening trade and investment relations with Brazil in accordance with the existing potential was highlighted. In addition, agriculture, transport, education and technology, and tourism were identified as key priorities in the partnership between our countries.
Information was provided about the favorable business environment created in our country and the opportunities available for investors, and Brazilian investors were invited to active cooperation.
The parties discussed the development of cooperation in various directions.
