The Ministry of Economy has released information on the revocation of the license of Baku Girls University LLC, the ministry told APA.
According to the ministry, based on a submission from the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the license of Baku Girls University LLC was suspended by Order No. 88 of the Ministry of Economy dated July 22, 2026.
"During the period since then, the LLC has not submitted any additional information confirming that the violations of the licensing conditions which served as the basis for the suspension had been eliminated. Based on a submission from the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the special license of Baku Girls University LLC was revoked by Order No. 92 of the Ministry of Economy dated July 30, 2026.
Under the current legislation, the issuance, suspension, and revocation of licenses for 23 types of entrepreneurial activities (except for cases arising from state security and activities in the financial markets sector) are carried out by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan based on the opinion and submission of the relevant state authorities," the statement said.
