"Azerbaijan ranked 57th among all of Moldova's trade partners in 2024," Vladimir Bolea, Moldova's Deputy Prime Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, said during the Azerbaijan-Moldova business forum, APA-Economics reports.

According to him, the trade turnover indicators between Moldova and Azerbaijan reflect the positive dynamics observed by both sides.

"In 2024, excluding the enterprises located on the left bank of the Dniester River and the Bender municipality, the volume of bilateral trade between Moldova and Azerbaijan amounted to 12 million US dollars. Of this, 6.75 million dollars came from exports, and 5.64 million dollars from imports. Azerbaijan ranked 57th among all of Moldova's trade partners, and this only means one thing for us: We must strengthen our trade and economic relations and fully unlock the potential for cooperation in the interests of both countries. One of the main goals of today's business forum is to strengthen these relations," he said.
