During January-October 2023, 81,206 cars worth 1 billion 374 million 23 thousand dollars were imported to Azerbaijan, State Customs Committee told APA-Economics.
Compared to January-October 2022, the number of cars imported into the country increased by 33.6% or 20,416. In the corresponding period of 2022, 60,790 cars worth 829 million 303 thousand dollars were imported to Azerbaijan.
Note that in the reporting period, the number of imported vehicles powered by electric motor only increased by 6.6 times or 2057 cars and reached to 2425 cars compared to the corresponding period of last year.
