Lord Darren Mott and Lord Iain McNicol spoke at a conference titled "Azerbaijan's Strategic Importance at COP29," held at ADA University.
During their visit, the lords paid tribute to the graves of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva. Tahir Gözel provided the guests with detailed information about the National Leader and discussed his contributions to Azerbaijan.
Note that Lord Iain McNicol is a member of the House of Lords, a trade union member, and served as General Secretary of the Labour Party from 2011 to 2018.
