Belarus is interested in creating joint production facilities with Azerbaijan, Dmitry Pinevich, the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Azerbaijan told APA.
Stating that the long distance between Azerbaijan and Belarus affects the rise in the price of goods exported from both countries, the ambassador noted that the joint ventures to be created are a way out of the situation: "There is a distance of 2,800 kilometers between us, this is the main difficulty. Of course, the distance affects the price of goods. Industrial cooperation allows for the creation of joint production. This is the highest form of cooperation projects and can lead to serious changes in the economic structure. That is why joint production is very important in terms of reducing logistics costs."
