The Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Mammadov met with the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic and the First State Secretary of the Ministry Kamil Šaško, the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan told APA.
According to the information, it was emphasized during the meeting that Azerbaijani-Slovak relations are thriving and there is great potential for expanding cooperation between the two countries. It was stated that Slovak companies are successfully operating in the industrial, construction, trade, and service sectors in Azerbaijan. There is potential for the development of partnerships between the countries in the fields of energy, humanitarian affairs, tourism, agriculture, defense industry, and infrastructure.
Under Article 3 of the "Agreement on Economic Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Slovak Republic," the parties held discussions on preparations for the next meeting of the Azerbaijan-Slovakia Joint Working Group on Economic Cooperation, as well as the activities of Slovak companies in the liberated territories to coordinate and promote bilateral economic cooperation.
