Azerbaijan's trade turnover with Switzerland increased by 86%

The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Switzerland accounted for USD 464 million 269 thousand in 2024, according to the calculations made by APA-Economics based on the report of the State Customs Committee.

This indicator increased by 86.2% or USD 214 million 898 thousand compared to the relevant period of the previous year.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan’s exports of non-oil products to Switzerland increased by 25.7%, reaching USD 220 million 429 thousand, while imports from Switzerland to Azerbaijan grew by 3.3 times, amounting to USD 243 million 843 thousand.

During this period, Azerbaijan primarily exported raw gold, silver, copper ores and concentrates, forest hazelnuts, and other products to Switzerland.

Note that last year, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Switzerland accounted for 0.98% of the country’s total trade turnover.

Recall that in 2024, Azerbaijan's total trade turnover made up USD 47 billion 612 million, while non-oil exports made up USD 3 billion 356.5 million.
