Trade operations between Azerbaijan and Italy amounted to 1 billion 813 million 454 thousand US dollars in January–February of this year, the State Customs Committee told APA-Economics.
According to the information, this is 20.41% less compared to the same period last year.
In two months, trade turnover with Italy accounted for 28.95% of the country’s total trade operations.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported products worth 1 billion 732 million 161 thousand US dollars to Italy. This represents a 21.44% annual decrease. Exports to Italy accounted for 47.26% of the country’s total exports.
In January–February, products worth 81 million 292 thousand US dollars were imported to Azerbaijan from Italy, which is 10.57% more year-on-year. During this period, imports from Italy accounted for 3.13% of the country’s total imports.
