In January-June 2024, the revenues of the state budget of Azerbaijan increased by 21.7% compared to the corresponding period of last year and amounted to AZN 18 billion 842.9 million, APA-Economics reports citing the State Statistics Committee.
According to the information, in January-June of this year, budget expenses increased by 14.1% to reach AZN 16 billion 52.9 million.
In the first 6 months of this year, the surplus of the state budget increased by 97% compared to the corresponding period last year and reached AZN 2 billion 790.8 million. In the same period of 2023, this figure was AZN 1 billion 416.7 million.
