In the modern era, digitalization is one of the important priorities in accelerating coordination between customs services for the efficient organization of global trade flows, Chairman of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan (SCC), Shahin Bagirov, said at the 10th meeting of the Customs Administrations Heads of the Turkic States Organization, APA-Economics reports.
He noted that one of the projects aimed at strengthening coordination and deepening integration in the field of customs is the Simplified Transport Corridor. This initiative holds strategic importance in terms of expanding trade in the region and strengthening economic ties.
