In 2024, Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover decreased by 7% in comparison with the previous year and amounted to USD 47 billion 612.1 million, APA-Economics reports citing the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.
Over the past year, exports across the country decreased by 21.7% amounting to USD 26 billion 554 million, while imports increased by 21.8% amounting to USD 21 billion 58 million.
Although a positive balance of USD 5 billion 496 million was created in foreign trade turnover, this is 3 times less than in the same period last year.
