Azerbaijan's non-oil sector exports increased by nearly 15%

In the first three months of 2025, Azerbaijan's non-oil sector exports increased by 14.7% compared to the corresponding period of 2024, reaching USD 771.9 million. During this period, food product exports grew by 15.1%, amounting to USD 224.7 million, APA-Economics reports citing the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.

It was noted that in the first three months of 2025, exports of precious and semi-precious stones and metals increased by 46.7 million USD, or 3.4 times, compared to the corresponding period last year, exports of ferrous metals and products made from them increased by 9.1 million USD, or 76.8%; chemical industry products by 21.9 million USD, or 33.4%; sugar by 976.3 thousand USD, or 18.8%; fruits and vegetables by 20.8 million USD, or 15.7%; aluminum and products made from it by 4.9 million USD, or 10.2%; alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by 724 thousand USD, or 5.7%; tea by 74.1 thousand USD, or 5.1%; plant and animal fats and oils by 237.9 thousand USD, or 4.2%; cotton yarn by 22.1 thousand USD, or 0.4%.

In the first three months of 2025, exports of agricultural products increased by 12.3%, reaching 170.5 million USD, while agro-industrial products grew by 17.6%, totaling 69.1 million USD.

Overall, the joint export of agricultural and agro-industrial products increased by 13.8%, reaching 239.6 million USD.
