In January–June 2025, Azerbaijan’s non-oil sector exports increased by 9.9% compared to the same period in 2024, amounting to 1.8 billion US dollars, APA-Economics reports citing the July issue of the Export Review by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
According to the information, in January–June 2025, exports of food products increased by 19.1%, reaching 564.7 million US dollars.
During the first six months of the current year, sugar exports increased by 7.4 million US dollars or 54.4%, chemical industry products by 48.7 million US dollars or 38.7%, fruit and vegetables by 81.2 million US dollars or 24.3%, cotton yarn by 1.8 million US dollars or 16.6%, ferrous metals and products made from them by 5.1 million US dollars or 12.5%, tea by 62.5 thousand US dollars or 2%, aluminum and aluminum products by 666.8 thousand US dollars or 0.7% compared to the corresponding period last year.
In January–June 2025, exports of agricultural products increased by 21.9%, reaching 455.2 million US dollars, and exports of agro-industrial products increased by 7.7%, amounting to 145 million US dollars. In total, joint exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products increased by 18.2%, reaching 600.3 million US dollars.
